El aprendizaje no\n\n\n\nThe Tibet Action Institute is an organization that uses digital communication tools and strategic nonviolent action to strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of the Tibet movement in the digital era, founded by Lhadon Tethong in 2009.[1][2] The organization helps to identify, trace, and resist malware and other online attacks launched against Tibetan activists.[3]\n\n\n\nIn 2012, Lhadon Tethong, director of the Tibet Action Institute, explained self-immolations in Tibet as a response to escalating repression from the Chinese government.[4]\n\n\n\nIn 2013, Citizen Lab collaborated with the Tibet Action Institute to hold public awareness events in Dharamshala, India, for the exiled Tibetan community on cyber espionage campaigns.[5]\n\n\n\nIn 2018, Lhadon Tethong said there was a “crisis of repression unfolding across China and territories it controls.” and that “it is shocking to know that Google is planning to return to China and has been building a tool that will help the Chinese authorities engage in censorship and surveillance.” She further noted that, “Google should be using its incredible wealth, talent, and resources to work with us to find solutions to lift people up and help ease their suffering \u2014 not assisting the Chinese government to keep people in chains.”[6]\n\n\n\nIn 2019, the group received the Democracy Award.[1]\n\n\n\n[...x]<\/span>

      NIH: No Documents Available on Removal of ‘Gain-of-Function’ Definition From Website<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      By Zachary StieberDecember 9, 2021 Updated: December 9, 2021 No documents exist explaining why officials decided to remove the definition of \u201cgain-of-function research\u201d from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) website, the agency told The Epoch Times. The NIH site used to include a 232-word definition of the research, but it was removed around the same time the agency disclosed that research it funded in China met the definition. The alteration took place sometime between Oct. 19 and Oct. 21. The Epoch Times submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for any communications and other documents from between Oct. 1 and Oct. 25 relating to the change, which had been authorized by the NIH Office of Communications and Public Liaison. The request was closed this week. The NIH told The Epoch Times that it \u201cdoes not have documentation\u201d on the change other than the updated page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
