Dios
There might be something along those lines in SN 4.23 Godhika Sutta.
Page 85 of The Patimokkha Rules Translated & Explained says,
Case (b) is apparently derived from SN 4.23, where Ven. Godhika takes his life and gains arahantship just moments before death
Islam teaches that all who enter into Islam must remain so in order to receive salvation (El islam enseña que hay salvación en la religión).
“If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah
), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good).”— Quran, sura 3 (Al Imran), ayat 85
Like the Bible, the Quran teaches that people are descendants of Adam and Eve and are imperfect sinners. However, the Quran also teaches that their god, Allah, inspired sin in humankind (Quran 4:88; 7:16–18; 9:51; 14:4; 16:93; 35:8; 57:22; 74:31; 91:7–9). Muslims believe that humans are sinners because Allah has willed it. They have no understanding similar to the Bible’s teaching that humans, not God, caused sin through rebellion against God (Romans 5:12, 5:18–19).
Love
In buddhism it is reach through meditation.
The practice generally consists of silent repetitions of phrases such as “may you be happy” or “may you be free from suffering”, for example directed at a person who, depending on tradition, may or may not be internally visualized.[9]
According to Peter Harvey, the Buddhist scriptures acknowledge that the Metta-concept containing four Brahmavihara meditation practices “did not originate within the Buddhist tradition”.[24] The Buddha never claimed that the “four immeasurables” and related Metta-meditation were his unique ideas, states Harvey Aronson, in a manner similar to “cessation, quieting, nirvana”.[25]
In buddhism and other hindu religion love through meditation help you reach nirvana.
In buddhism one is taught to love demons:
Whatever living beings there are – feeble or strong, long, stout or medium, short, small or large, seen or unseen (ghosts, gods and hell-beings), those dwelling far or near, those who are born or those who await rebirth may all beings, without exception be happy-minded.
— Metta Sutta, Khp 8-9, Translated by Peter Harvey[28]
Contrary to it, in christianity God is love. We are not able to love without him. It is not about our desire but God within us.
In christianity we can only love after been reborn. That’s why we are not able to love who is against God and it should not be misinterpreted with mercy and filos.
Feeding demons in buddhism: If you try to attack your demons head on, they’ll fight back and cause more problems. But when you feed them, you treat them with compassion and understanding, and then they become your friends.
