Vladimir (Zev) Zelenko (born 1973)[1] is a Ukrainian-American family physician and author known for promoting a three drug combination of hydroxychloroquine, zinc sulfate and azithromycin as part of an experimental outpatient treatment for COVID-19
On March 23, 2020, Zelenko published an open letter to U.S. president Donald Trump where he claimed to have successfully treated hundreds of his COVID-19 patients with a 5 day course of his Protocol. Zelenko’s treatment protocol quickly gained notoriety with several media figures and various Trump’s administration officials promoting it, including Rudy Giuliani, and White House chief of staff Mark Meadows
Vladimir Zelenko was born in Kyiv (then, part of Soviet Ukraine), in 1973.[1][4] His family moved to the US when he was three years old, and settled in Sheepshead Bay neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York City.[4]
Zelenko attended medical school at the State University of New York at Buffalo, earning a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2000.[5]

The Aérotrain was an experimental Tracked Air Cushion Vehicle (TACV), or hovertrain, developed in France from 1965 to 1977 under the engineering leadership of Jean Bertin (1917–1975) – and intended to bring the French rail network to the cutting edge of land-based public transportation.[1]
Though similar to a maglev design, which levitates a train car over a complex electromagnetic track to eliminate all resistance other than aerodynamic drag, the Aérotrain – also a “train without wheels”[2] – rode on an air cushion over a simple reinforced concrete track or guideway and could travel at the speed of a maglev train, without the further technical complexity and expense of its track. In many respects, the entire concept resembled a product of the aircraft rather than rail industry.[2]

During the Australian gold rushes, starting in 1851, significant numbers of workers moved from elsewhere in Australia and overseas to where gold had been discovered. Gold had been found several times before, but the colonial government of New South Wales (Victoria did not become a separate colony until 1 July 1851) had suppressed the news out of the fear that it would reduce the workforce and so destabilise the economy.[1]

The large Ranga Mantapa is well known for its 56 musical pillars. These pillars are also known as SaReGaMa pillars, which are attributed to the musical notes emerging out of them. The musical notes can be heard when the pillars are gently tapped. One can find a set of main pillars and also several smaller ones at the mantapa.
Each pillar provides support to the ceiling of the mantapa, and the main pillars are designed in the manner of musical instruments. Every main pillar is wrapped by 7 minor pillars and these minor pillars emit different musical notes. Every note coming out of these pillars vary in their sound quality and also change as per the percussion, string or wind instrument being played.

Celestial globe, Beijing, China https://www.sciencephoto.com/media/321402/view/celestial-globe-beijing-china Celestial globe at the Imperial Astronomical Observatory, Beijing (Peking), China. This observatory was built in 1442 to facilitate both astronomical purposes and seafaring navigation. It was later refitted in the late 17th century by the Jesuits. Additional bronze instruments were supervised by Jesuit astronomer Ferdinand Verbiest (1623-1688), a Flemish priest and a special advisor to the Qing court regarding the correction of the Chinese calendar. The celestial globe was built in 1663 and was used to determine the time in which the celestial bodies will rise and set, as well as the altitude and azimuth of the bodies at any given time.
An armillary sphere (variations are known as spherical astrolabe, armilla, or armil is a model of objects in the sky (on the celestial sphere), consisting of a spherical framework of rings, centered on Earth or the Sun, that represent lines of celestial longitude and latitude and other astronomically important features, such as the ecliptic. As such, it differs from a celestial globe, which is a smooth sphere whose principal purpose is to map the constellations. It was invented separately in ancient Greece during the 3rd century BC and ancient China during the 4th century BC, with later uses in the Islamic world and Medieval Europe.

…these last two equations connote that varying electric and magnetic intensities will be propagated through the ether in wave form with a velocity c…
Precise measurements… then proved that the value of this ratio was about 186,000 miles per second; whence it became necessary to assume that periodic perturbations in the strains and stresses of the field would be propagated in the form of waves moving through the ether with this particular speed. But this velocity was precisely that of light waves propagated through the luminiferous ether.

- One reason for the success of Maxwell’s teaching texts, and those of Thomson and Tait, is that they were… expounding in clear and persuasive language the new understanding in basic physics that their authors had been responsible for developing… In a way, Maxwell’s contributions to the great ninth edition of the Encyclopaedia Britannica were a natural development of his zeal for teaching. They covered Atom, Attraction, Capillary action, Constitution of bodies, Diagrams, Diffusion, Ether, Faraday, Harmonic analysis, and Physical sciences. …Maxwell deserves to be remembered as one of the nineteenth century’s notable pedagogues. …His expertise was built upon understanding, enthusiasm, hard work, and experience.

Antique Piece a Oiseau Full Orchestral Antique Music Box by Ami Rivenc, c. 1870

A museum quality, extremely rare Piece a Oiseau full orchestral antique music box made by Ami Rivenc of Geneva in c. 1870.
Piece a oiseau boxes are rare. Full orchestral piece a oiseau boxes almost never appear. To have one in such excellent condition is, for me, a first in my nearly 50 years of dealing in music boxes.
This is truly a very special thing. The movement features 7 engraved bells, a drum, castanet, and a singing bird automaton visible through its own window at the front of the case. The exquisitely coloured feathered bird has four separate moving parts: head, beak, wings and tail. The beak moves in time with the music he makes, lending him a wonderfully realistic air. As an extra feature, the birdsong can be turned off at will – although even when silent, the bird continues to move. He sits inside his original dried foliage nest, and has a beautiful tone to his birdsong, thanks to a 16-note pipe organ. The bells are engraved and can be disengaged at will, as can the drum and castanet. The entire musical movement has been fully overhauled and cleaned, and is in the best possible condition.
